Date Band™ is a dating site with a difference.Do you keep seeing the same person, but feel too shy to approach them? Well, Date Band™ has been developed just for you. There are a couple of main unique features to Date Band™ which are:
- When you join Date Band™ we will send you a free 'Date Band' (see photo left), so when you go out, you wear your funky, but subtle Date Band, and others will know you are single and up for grabs!
- Next time you spot your gorgeous hunk or hunkess, for example, at the gym, you can place a Date Band™ ICU card under their windscreen, locker, on their coat or on their tread mill and then run as fast as you can to the changing rooms; that option is for the shrinking violets amongst us. This way they have the website address, your username and if they like the look of you online, then it's up to them to make the next move. But don't worry if the person you have left a card with is in a relationship, then there is a small disclaimer on the back of the card! No embarrassment.

We have created a few do's and don'ts with Date Band, most of it is just common sense and using your instincts, which are rarely wrong! Move your mouse over the rules below to see the full rule:
Date Band is very different from traditional websites. You hopefully, will be meeting people in and around where you live and work. If you meet someone and you see they have a band, then they must be a member. Obviously we want you to start dating, marry and live happily ever after. On the serious side, you don't know this person. We validate as much of the data entered by members as we can. Trust your instincts if it doesn't feel right, or their information isn't right then let us know. rule 1 Instincts One of the reasons Date Band was formed was to try and move away from the I'm tall and gorgeous to find out they are short and not gorgeous. It doesn't matter how tall you are or how attractive you are, if you are honest it's a good start in getting to know someone better. Don't mess with someone's emotions, we have all been hurt. If they aren't for you just let them down gently. rule 2 Honesty Here at Date Band we want to protect you as much as we can. We never share your information with anyone else and we want you to be careful when you do. You can communicate all you like through the website. Get to know them by chatting and messaging. If they ask for your mobile number then just be wary that once they have it you can't remove it from their phone. Never give your home address etc until you are completely sure that this person is who they say they are. rule 3 Personal Rules, rules, rules......... be careful, be vigilant, have fun, enjoy yourself but not at someone else's expense.....and when you have found the love of your life and prove that this form of dating works tell us and we can make you our 'flagship' couple.
